Tip #1- Stop moving. Remember, movement makes a migraine worse.
Tip #2- Remove yourself from the trigger. If you are in the sun, get in the shade. If you in a hot area, get to a cool area. If you have access to ice, get some ice on your head.
Tip #3-Don’t try to “hydrate yourself out of it.” Once the headache starts, your intestinal track will slow down. Increasing your fluid intake can cause nausea. Wait until the pain is over or until you hear your stomach growl.
Tip #4-The most important tip of all, avoid as many triggers as possible.
